In the streets of Le Mans, the Cofidis team was caught out during the 4th and final stage of the Pays de la Loire Tour. Bryan Coquard finished 10th in the general classification.
It was in the streets of Le Mans that the traditional final stage of the Pays de la Loire Tour came to a close. On the urban course and the tough Gazonfier climb, the Cofidis team tried to shake up the general classification, with Bryan Coquard attacking from the very first meters on the Le Mans circuit and claiming the time bonus 50 km from the finish. Caught in a trap in the final stretch, the team had to settle for a 10th-place finish in the general classification with Bryan.

Benjamin Giraud, sports director: The general classification was decided on the final circuit of the Région Pays de la Loire Tour, traditionally held in Le Mans. We couldn’t do better than a 10th-place finish with Bryan Coquard despite the fact that he took a time bonus midway through the stage. After that, we got caught out in the final stretch and ended up with 10th place GC.
