Second day of racing in Greece. After Bryan Coquard's victory in the Visit South Aegean GP the day before, the team was aiming for another good result in the Region On Dodecanese GP.

No two days are the same. After Bryan Coquard's victory in the Visit South Aegean GP, the Cofidis team was aiming for another good result on the second day of racing in Greece and the Region on Dodecanese GP. Although the plan outlined in the briefing went perfectly at first, the last 5 kilometers were more complicated for the team, with punctures and crashes to avoid.

The reaction

Evaldas Siskevicius : "From the start of the race, there were many attacks. There was a lot of movement in the first 40 kilometers. The guys managed to control the race well. Emanuel Buchmann and Edoardo Zamperini even found themselves at the front before a breakaway of three riders got away. Nicolas Debeaumarché rode hard all day and controlled the breakaway well. He did a great job. Everything was under control until 5km from the finish. Then we started to have problems. Clément Izquierdo had a flat front tire. Even though he was quickly repaired, he got caught up in the breaks and couldn't catch up with all the groups. After that, everyone was well mobilized around Bryan, but we were unlucky again because the guys were hampered by crashes. "
