Like the men, our women's team kicked off their Flemish classics campaign at the Omloop Nieuwsblad on Saturday, February 28, 2026.


As expected, it was the Mur de Grammont that proved decisive in the women's Omloop Nieuwsblad on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The race was dominated by a peloton that was very tense due to the risk of crosswinds and strong winds. Although our Cofidis team showed some great teamwork, they were unlucky as they approached the Mur. Malwinal Mul, who was celebrating her birthday at the Belgian classic, was caught up in a crash about ten kilometers from the finish. Victoire Berteau was hampered and forced to make an effort to catch up with the leading girls. The girls were aiming for better results in Ninove but are already looking ahead to their next race: the Omloop Van Het Hageland this Sunday.

Mélanie Briot, sport director : "Today, the whole team was working for Victoire. We did a pretty good job approaching the hills, especially Molenberg. We still had two girls at the foot of the Mur de Grammont with Malwina Mul and Victoire Berteau. Unfortunately, Malwina fell with a good dozen girls about ten kilometers from the Mur. Victoire was hampered by the fall. She had to make an effort to get back to the foot of the climb. Grammont was decisive, with FDJ United-Suez setting a very fast pace. The goal was to finish in the top 15-20. The intention is there, we saw some great
