Bad luck has plagued the team since the start of the season, with several riders suffering crashes during races or training sessions. Here is an update on each of our riders who have been affected.
Currently, two riders are still recovering from medical issues that arose in 2025.
- Ludovic Robeet is still undergoing rehabilitation after suffering a stroke in early September 2025.
- Valentin Ferron is recovering from surgery on his inguinal artery in October 2025. He started the race on Sunday in Almeria, but suffered a fall that left him with only a few scrapes.
Since early 2026, we have had four new injuries.
- Camille Charret fell during training and broke his collarbone and a finger. He underwent surgery for both fractures. The collarbone fracture seems to be almost healed, and the pin in his finger will be removed on Wednesday. The orthopaedic surgeon has given him the green light to train outdoors.
- Oliver Knight was knocked over during training and broke his fifth metacarpal.
He underwent surgery at the hospital in Herentals, Belgium. He is healing well and has already resumed training on a home trainer. The stitches will be removed on Wednesday.
- Sergio Samitier fell during the Tour of Oman.
He fractured the head of his radius and X-rays also suggest a possible fracture of the scaphoid. The fracture of the head of the radius can be treated conservatively (without surgery). He will undergo further tests (MRI scan) tomorrow and Friday. If the scaphoid is indeed fractured, surgery may be necessary.
- Damien Touzé suffered a very serious fall during the Tour of Oman. The provisional diagnosis currently indicates a perforated intestine, which required emergency surgery.
He also has a ruptured spleen and multiple injuries to his leg: a fractured tibia and torn medial and lateral collateral ligaments and anterior cruciate ligament. ..
His wife has since joined him at the hospital in Muscat to support him. He is due to be repatriated shortly to a hospital near his home in Belgium.
His leg is currently immobilised in a plaster cast from his groin to his foot.
We would like to thank our doctor Annemie Batjoens, who has been at Damien's side since his fall and has played a very important role in his care and hospitalisation. We would also like to thank ASO for their help since the incident occurred.
The whole team wishes our riders a speedy recovery and a big thank you to our medical team who work with them throughout the season.
