To wrap up the 2026 edition of the Tour de France Femmes, the peloton headed to Nice for a final stage of 99.2 kilometers. It was a short and tense final day, featuring several more challenges on the course and, above all, a highly anticipated final showdown among the general classification favorites.
True to its spirit throughout the week, the Cofidis team sought to take the initiative. Malwina Mul, in particular, joined the attacks to try to shake up the race and capitalize on the final opportunities of this Grande Boucle. She took the lead at the intermediate sprint during the first pass over the finish line.
Cofidis thus concludes this Tour de France Femmes with an aggressive approach that was evident from the very first stage. Between the breakaways by Ema Comte and Nikola Nosková, her second-place finish in the mountains classification, and Malwina Mul’s two Top 10 finishes, our riders had numerous opportunities to shine.

Mélanie Briot: "We wanted to start the Tour de France with breakaways, and we did just that right from the first stage. That set off a really positive momentum: Nikola Noskova was aggressive on the first stage. We were a little frustrated that we didn’t take the polka-dot jersey on the very first day. We could have held onto it for several days, but oh well… Ema Comte stayed at the front on the second day, and Malwina Mul finished in the top 10—it’s incredible—and she did it again the next day. We knew the rest of the race would be a bit more complicated. We were really competitive, and Malwina finished this Tour de France strong. The team’s morale also played a big role. The atmosphere was great. I’d like to thank the entire staff for their dedication and professionalism. The Tour de France is a wonderful adventure, and I think the team’s atmosphere affects the riders—and vice versa. I think we were on a positive roll all week long."
